Divisional Manager


IST (Installation & Service Technologies) is looking for a Divisional manager who is tech-savvy, service driven, dedicated, and hardworking. This position is an excellent opportunity for anyone who enjoys managing people and technology. IST is the perfect company for anyone and hopes to grow their trade in the field – outside the typical office environment – managing people and installing/repairing digital signage, point-of-sale systems, video walls, and dozens of other technologies.

We have an immediate opening for a Divisional Manager; who will be responsible for home-based field technicians (Midwest to East Coast). There is travel involved in this position as about 25% of your time is spent in the field depending on the week. The Divisional Manager is committed to quality of service, excellent client relationships, staff development and the overall promotion of IST’s brand and mission statement. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with field management or territory management, experience with Point of Sale systems, Digital Signage or a technology background.

The position requires extensive travel including weekends and some holidays (by vehicle or plane). Schedule is varied, work may be during day, night, overnight or weekend hours. We pay all travel expenses and offer mileage reimbursement and car allowance.

  • CompTIA A+ and Network+ Certifications
  • Excellent customer service, management and communication skills
  • Rotating shifts, including nights and weekends

  • Valid driver's license and insurance at all times
  • Set of common hand tools and electronic equipment
  • Ability to stand, lift up to 70 lbs., crawl, climb, and use maximum dexterity for long periods
  • Detail-oriented focus and an ability write reports, records, and correspondence
  • Strong managerial capabilities, and the ability to get the most from direct recruits, and inspire them by example to always give their best work
  • Prior experience with Digital Signage or Point-of-Sale equipment
  • Restaurant wireless headset technical service
  • Experience/training with cable management, low voltage, or electrical is preferred
